Vallourec

Introducion:

Vallourec developed in the late nineteenth century from two traditionally industrial French regions: the North, around Valenciennes and Maubeuge; and Burgundy, around Montbard, both of which are still the Group's main operating areas. Its Head Office is in Boulogne-Billancourt

Modern production units:
Today, Vallourec has a steel mill in Saint-Saulve and four tube mills in Saint-Saulve, Aulnoye-Aymeries, Montbard and Déville-Lès-Rouen.

These modern, top of the range plants focus primarily on small production runs with high added value, serving all areas of Group operations. They are backed up by finishing workshops (heat treatment and threading).

The Group also has production units that are operated by specialized subsidiaries:

Serimax (subsea pipeline welding), Vallourec Umbilicals (tubes for umbilicals) and Vallourec Drilling Products France (tubular products for drilling) in the oil and gas sector
Valinox Nucléaire (tubes for steam generators in nuclear power plants) and Vallourec Heat Exchanger Tubes (stainless steel and titanium tubes for condensers) in the electric power sector.
Vallourec Bearing Tubes (seamless tubes and bushings for manufacturing bearings) in the mechanical engineering and automotive industries.
and finally, Vallourec Fittings (steel weld fittings) in most areas of Group operations.
